One of the best things about working on this blog with a friend is that I pay much closer attention to her wardrobe…and then copy it. Katie has such a great sense of style and when I saw her wear that amazing cape I had to have one! Burberry was a little out of my price range so I opted for this Good Night Macaroon option. Its gorgeous, warm and goes with everything. My favorite place to do a cape is at work. Its the perfect layering piece for the sometimes steaming hot other times freezing cold office. Last weekend in the 50 degree Chicago weather I even wore it for my coat! Since I own so many black basics I paired it with an all black outfit, but it works well with grays (the boots), blues and whites too.
