The crazy denim trends going on right now are not exactly my speed. I'm more of a find what works and stick with it. I got through grade school in flares, high school in A+F minis and so far I've been sticking to skinny jeans ever since. Reading is Golden
I was so excited for our vacation to Vail because I don't always have time to read! Between work, playing with my gorgeous baby, attempting to cook and trying to get some work outs and sleep in it's extremely difficult. I also have an odd taste in books. I love a rainbow story where everything ends happy. I am learning to let go of my favorites (Harry Potter, duh!) and branch out to read some newer books. I recently found three that I'm so excited to read. More blogs and reviews to come! Most importantly I have to read while my gold nails dry! I'm obsessed with metallic nails right now. Comfy Traveling
You know how you often see photos of girls jumping off planes in their tight jeans and high heels. Even better, you see photos of celebrities wearing tracksuits and strappy heels. I am not down with that trend. I hate the idea of traveling and being uncomfortable. I always want to be super comfortable, even on a few hour flight. Skiing in Vail
I do not think anything could be more beautiful than skiing in Vail. I am not an expert skier and definitely fell quite a few times, but nothing beats the view we got to take in every day. I forced George to go skiing for the first time two years ago. He has had 2 ACL surgeries on the same leg and still appeased his wife my midwest skiing. He even ventured with 3 of my girlfriends and dealt with our peak and pits of the trip the entire car ride home. Needless to say it was emotional, but he fell in love with the sport. The next year I had to opt out of skiing because I was only 8 month pregnant (nbd). I lodged it up with Katie's husband Dave (one of my best friends) who had zero desire to ski, despite his awesome Canadian Goose coat. We had the best time ever, but I was ready to hit the slopes again. This year I was not about to pass up an opportunity to hit the slopes.
