I love mixing and matching pink and white; together, they are so girly! I put this outfit together while fantasizing about what it must be like to own a boat. Can't you just imagine sailing in this outfit? The preppy gingham shoulder on the Vineyard Vines Shep Shirt is a nice touch on a relatively simple zip-up. Unfortunately they aren't selling this exact Shep Shirt at the moment, but they frequently change out their Shep Shirts, so I'd keep checking if you are interested in this particular color combo. Black Dress Wedding Guest
Congrats to Julia & Pat! This past weekend I went to a beautiful wedding at an art museum. I love to wear color but I love a black dress even more. This Torn by Ronny Kobo dress is probably one of my new favorites that I will wear over and over again (this will be time 4!). Its so flattering, comfortable and looks amazing. With the high neckline I decided to do a fancier earring than I'm used to, even though it was still a stud (my ears are so small I get scared to wear dangly or heavy earrings). These are a favorite of mine because my son was born in February and my husband bought me amethyst jewelry to remember the occasion (like we would forget!). I wore a matching bracelet and a t strap heel to dress it up. The black clutch is a Louis Vuitton that I got as a gift. Its such a simple design there are similar options on any price scale! Striped Dress
I'm a big fan of stripes, so when I found this dress I instantly added it to my shopping cart. The black and white color combo gives this modern-cut dress a very classic feel. I feel like the Duchess would own this dress. (For those of you who don't know me yet, I am obsessed with Kate Middleton--a.k.a. "The Duchess." You will frequently see me refer to her in my fashion posts, because I think she always looks perfect.) As far as accessories go, you can really do anything with this dress! Pops of color in your jewelry, shoes, or bag would all work well with this neutral dress. I've paired it with a fedora, nude sandals and a black vintage Chanel bag.
