July means that not only are our weekends jammed packed with BBQs, birthday parties, and beach days on Lake Michigan; we also have a slew of weddings to attend and be a part of. Between Pamela and I, we have a total of 6 weddings squeezed into these three short summer months!
Adding to the craziness, my own wedding is August 20. While the dresses for my wedding have been picked out since January, I wanted to share a few of our favorite wedding guest dresses.
Traditional
For a classic look that suits every wedding style, we’ve picked timeless, yet modern pieces.
First, is a coral Chelsea28 dress that’s ruffle hem and coral color adds just enough of a pop to make this dress stand out from the crowd.
Next is this figure flattering fit and flare Halston Heritage dress in black and white. I LOVE this dress. I normally gravitate to more form-fitting dresses, but there is something about the body of this skirt that I can’t get over. Obsessed!
This green Diane Von Furstenberg dress will give you a perfectly-polished look. No frills here; just great tailoring in a vivid color. You can’t go wrong.

Beach
For those of you heading to the beach this summer we’ve got you covered!
First is this Eliza J blue and white stripe dress. The color of the blue reminds me of seersucker, and screams “beach” to me.
Nothing says Florida, quite as much as Lilly Pulitzer. If you are headed to the sunshine state, be sure to snag this navy shift dress before you go!
Next we have this Maggy London handkerchief dress. The skirt has great movement that’ll fit in perfectly to some seaside nuptials. Can you feel the ocean breeze catching the hem of this dress??
